My entrepreneurial journey began in the bustling city of Amritsar, India. Growing up in a family of business owners, I was always fascinated by entrepreneurship. By the time I was 13, I was already selling pashmina shawls to my school teachers and in my neighborhood, making more than 100% profit margins! At 18, I tried my hand at starting a ketchup factory out of my dad's garage, which didn’t go as planned but taught me a lot about business.

Inspired by my uncle’s success in Canada, I moved there in 2001, determined to make my mark. I worked various jobs at Tim Hortons, delivering water coolers, while honing my skills in finance and investments.  This gave me an opportunity to enhance my professional career at companies like Carillion Construction Inc., Aecon Constructions, TD Bank.  After earning my CFA and CAIA designations, I joined Transglobe Asset Management, where I managed over $500 million real estate portfolio and helped take the company public.

But my heart was always in entrepreneurship. In 2010, I decided to start my own Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory firm. I vividly remember starting with a new pair of shoes, a box of business cards, and a goal of making 100 cold calls daily. That persistence paid off when I sold a small electrical supplies distributor for half a million dollars in just three months. Since then, I’ve been helping small business owners achieve their dreams, one business at a time.
